In a thrilling and historic match, the England women’s football team secured their place in the Women’s World Cup final for the very first time after a 3-1 victory over Australia.
The semi-final encounter held an extra layer of excitement as Australia had the home advantage while England was eager to overcome all odds and claim their spot in the final.

In the final minutes of the game,Hemp provided an assist to Russo who fired a low shot which sealed the Lionesses place at the final.
Both England and Spain will be playing their first Women’s World Cup final when they meet at Stadium Australia on Sunday.
Australia will play Sweden for third place on Saturday in Brisbane.
