DJ Babu, a renowned Kenyan entertainer based in Dubai has tragically passed away in a horrific accident.
DJ Babu is known for his work in collaboration with several Kenyan artists, including Nyashinski, Iyaani, Masauti, and Kriss Darling of the Dohty Family. He reportedly passed away on July 31 in a horrific accident, just three days after welcoming Kenyan artist Khaligraph Jones to Dubai for a show.

Khaligraph Jones’ trip to Dubai had been heavily publicized by DJ Babu, who also urged Kenyans and admirers in the UAE to attend the rapper’s concert. The DJ’s passing has sent shock waves across Kenya’s entertainment industry since DJ Babu was recognized as a major advocate for Kenyan music in the UAE and coordinated events for Kenyan performers.
