The latest twist in the transfer window is Bayern Munich’s keen interest in acquiring the services of ex Manchester United seasoned goalkeeper, David de Gea.
The Bavarian giants’ pursuit of the Spanish shot-stopper has gained significant momentum after being rejected by Kepa Arrizabalaga who has since moved to Real Madrid.
Bayern also had eyes on Ajax’s Geronimo Rulli. Howevwer, Rulli was injured just before he was due to travel to Munich to get the deal done.
As of now, Bayern Munich has one fit keeper and a youth player as backup. That’s not going to be enough, but the Bavarians seem to have allegedly made their mind up and want to sign David de Gea. His wage demands are a potential roadblock, however.

De Gea left Manchester United this summer after 12 years at Old Trafford in which he made 545 appearances and broke the clubs all time clean sheet record.
The 32 year old is yet to find a new club and has attracted interests from teams in Saudi Arabia who are on a spending spree this summer.
But De Gea turned down Saudi interest and also snubbed a transfer to Italian club Inter Milan.
Real Madrid looked set to sign the Spaniard but Carlo Ancelotti decided to bring in Kepa Arrizabalaga on loan from Chelsea instead.
