As Manchester City’s pre-season tour in Japan and South Korea begins, Riyad Mahrez will be absent as he finalises his move to Saudi Arabia.
The treble winners have reportedly agreed to a €35 million deal with Al Ahli for the winger.
The Saudi pro-League club have booked a medical for the Algerian in the next 24 hours while the two clubs finalise the terms of the transfer.

It brings an end to Mahrez’s spell at the Etihad Stadium in which he has made more than 200 appearances across five seasons and won the Premier League four times since joining in July 2018.
The Algerian forward has been in and out of City’s first eleven last season and has frequently been dropped by Pep Guardiola.
