Jua Cali Clarifies His Njugush Tweet After Getting Backlash

His comments came after Kenyans on Twitter shared their comments on the show Njugush and his wife had done in Australia that sold out. It started when a tweet from one of those who attended Njugush’s show in Australia went viral. The tweet mentioned that they only came to show support but that he was not as funny.

Jua Cali in a recent tweet apologized to Njugush’s fans and clarified why he tweeted what he did the last time. He highlighted how standup comedians and musicians were different and said that a standup comedian needs a team of writers and pointed out YY and Butita.

This is after having a sold out show back in London that got great response and feedback and another previously done in Nairobi. He was also invited by the president to State house. Ruto claimed that Njugush had become an entrepreneur due to his comedy skills and that he probably earned more than he did.
