Bebe Rexha was hit in the face with a phone and injured during a show in New York Manhattan, while she was performing and was seen falling to her knees holding her face before her crew ran to the stage to help her.
The police said the I’m Good hitmaker was rushed to hospital soon after the incident. On Monday, a bruise, bandage and stitches were seen on her left eye as she posted a TikTok singing, I’m good, yeah, I’m feeling alright. Telling her fans, she was okay.
Nicolas Magnava, a twenty-seven-year-old was arrested and released without bail with charges of assault, aggravated harassment and other charges. He said he had thrown the phone at Bebe thinking it would be funny. He also said he was hoping Rexha would catch the phone and take pictures with it. He faces up to a year in custody if found guilty of the charges.
She is next to perform in Philadelphia. She is set to continue on tour with the injury. The pop star is known for her two major hits, I’m Good which was number four on the Billboards and Meant to Be. She has won 21 awards out of 63 nominations in her career.
Bebe released her album, Bebe earlier this year. In her new album, she also has a song with Dolly Parton and Snoop Dogg. She admits sadly that the album does not have many electronic sounds but she is preparing something for her fourth that will take us to the dance floor. This was her first headlining tour in six years.
