The training services division offers programs such as caregiving and swimming training, among others. Notably, trainees who complete the caregiving training receive certification after completion.

Founded in 2017, the American Red Cross experienced significant growth between 2018 and 2019, followed by further benefits from 2020 to 2023. Presently, the organization is in the midst of reinventing itself, with a particular emphasis on robotics and AI machine learning. This strategic shift aims to leverage cutting-edge technologies to enhance their operations.

During the speech, Mawdsley stressed the importance of building a portfolio comprising projects that generate cost savings while delivering progressive impacts through calculated risks. The organization faced a unique challenge on the West Coast of the United States, where frequent droughts give rise to devastating wildfires and subsequent emergent issues. During such crises, individuals in need of assistance rely on the American Red Cross for support.

To address this, the organization is developing an application software that will enable their target audience to easily reach out for help. Extensive research has gone into building an affordable and user-friendly solution.

However, the American Red Cross acknowledges the obstacles they face, particularly when it comes to reaching individuals who lack access to electricity and internet services. To overcome this challenge, the organization is actively working on a server infrastructure capable of connecting with their target audience, irrespective of electricity or data connectivity. This server will facilitate the provision of vital information and enable users to access the assistance they need.
