China’s textile industry have doubled up their production of garments to fill overseas orders. The industry has had blowing orders since the restriction of travelling that was caused by Covid 19.
The factory located in East China says their sales team has gone abroad four times to meet clients in person.
Since the country relaxed its covid 19, travel restrictions and their efforts have paid off with new orders already scheduled through September.

They have exported approximately 1.5 million pieces of clothing in April, 2022. Since the beginning of April 2023, exports have grown by 20% to a huge order of 1.8 million pieces.

The textile industry does not produce clothing garments only but it also produces pillow cases for clients in Netherlands. The factory’s manager mentioned that the increasing overseas demand has kept them busy since the beginning of the year.
We have been working overtime on weekdays. Over the past four months, orders have been sufficient and scheduled through late June. China’s been the world’s largest producer and exporter of textile and garments for decades.
According to data from the China National Textile and Apparel Council, the country’s textile and apparel export volume has neared 323 billion US dollars last year.
