The FKF-PL took a break over the weekend due to the League Cup; Gor Mahia were eliminated but will be looking to extend their lead in the league.
FKF Premier League leaders Gor Mahia will be facing Sofapaka on Wednesday at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani. Sofapaka are 12th with 25 points from 20 matches while Gor Mahia are top of the league, with 45 points.
Sofapaka last beat Gor in 2020 and have since gone five matches without a win against K’Ogalo. Benson Omala, the leading candidate for the Golden Boot, will be hoping to add to his 19 goals already scored after missing the net in Gor’s 5-0 thrashing of Vihiga Bullets last week.
However, it will not be an easy task as Gor Mahia will have to keep Congolese striker Rody Manga at bay. The Sofapaka striker has eight goals this season and will be looking to make a mark against the top club in Kenya.
FKF Premier League top scorer Benson Omala is expected to partner with Patric Kaddu, who scored a hat trick on his debut against Vihiga Bullets.

AFC Leopards Host Tusker FC at the Nyayo National Stadium
The FKF Premier League Round 22 fixture between AFC Leopards and Tusker FC will be the most anticipated on Wednesday. Tusker FC are in second place with 39 points after 20 games, while AFC Leopards are third with 38 points after playing one more game. Ingwe last beat Tusker in September 2021.
Tusker FC head coach Robert Matano affirmed desire to win,
“Playing Leopards is always not easy because they are a good team and at this stage they are also fighting for the title like us,
“However, losing will jeopardize our chances of defending the title and that is why we have to win not only this game but the remaining ones.”
