Producer David Moya has clarified what made him become the most followed person on TikTok in Kenya during an interview with Andrew Kibe.
Moya who studied Communication in college said he used to post his content on his YouTube channel but his dreams were nearly exhausted after realizing that he was making little money.
According to Moya, passion, persistence, and being keen on what his audience want has helped him gain and showcase fresh content on TikTok.
At a recognized position, Moya noted that it was during the post-Covid period when he decided to do something new and different to make Kenyans that drove him to start going on the streets to record his content.
When he started recording his videos on the streets, many people received his viewpoint in a positive manner and some of his followers knew what is coming next.
While doing video recording on the streets, Moya focused on surprise videos and he noticed that it is only men who were strategically interested and that is when he decided to think of something unique to capture the attention of ladies too.
In the process of re-introducing dancing as part of his content, there was a video that he recorded while surprising a lady at the market premises while dancing and it really performed well on social media platforms.

The video showcased 10 million views in two days on TikTok. That was his game transformer that was a green light indicator that he was now sure about the type of content that his audience need.

He added that he started to move to strategic locations to shoot his content because of the interests of the fans.
In a statement, David Moya said that he did not give up since he loved what he was doing toward his success.
