An important week for Manchester United, highlight the fact that Sir Alex Ferguson held a meeting over a meal with Erik ten Hag ahead of the UEFA Europa League Playoff clash between Manchester United and Barcelona, at Old Trafford. After the meeting, Ten Hag had this to say about Sir Alex Ferguson, “I always enjoy speaking with people who have a lot of knowledge and experience, and he wants to share it. He wants to help and support.

United drew 2-2 with Barcelona at Camp Nou and will be feeling optimistic about the second leg. Raphael Varane has plenty of experience having faced Barcelona in La Liga and will be in a solid backline with Lisandro Martinez, in-form Wan Bissaka, and Luke Shaw on the wings. Marcus Rashford leads from the front.
