Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal battled Leicester City in the Premier League for a hard-earned 3 points to move clear off Manchester City in second place. Gabriel Martinelli’s goal in one minute after the break was enough for the Gunners to emerge victorious. Leicester remain in 14th.

As a mark of respect for arguably the greatest game on earth, Zinchenko was captain for Arsenal. Mikel Arteta’s team had to dig out the result with two disallowed goals in the first half.

The Gunners have garnered through Martinelli’s composure once the chance presented itself. Leicester City were looking onto the counter-attacks while Arsenal overcame disappointment from disallowed goals.

Trossard found the back of the net in the first half with a sublime curled goal from the edge of the box but VAR’s intervention in the 30th minute proved crucial for the Foxes.

However, the Gunners saw out the game to maintain their lead.
