Standards

There is nothing wrong in setting standards for a person you want to date or start a relationship with, however some standards are not attainable.

Some standards are set after one has watched movies making them want a person like the main Protagonist. In all honesty, some of these people rarely exist

Some standards are reasonable. For instance, One should be financially stable or One should not have good character around people. However, some standards are not reachable making people have a fantasy relationship with a person who merely exists.

This high Standards are created when watching movies making us believe there are actual men and women who have the same personalities as the characters making us want the impossible from our significant other.
Here are some top three movies that make people set the bar so high while dating or looking for a relationship.

Fifty Shade of Grey.
The movie is good for entertainment and makes you feel relaxed and relieves stress. However, in the real sense, if the main protagonist Christian Grey was not rich and handsome the movie will be more of a crime documentary than a Romantic movie.

In real life, the people who are normally into this are either Handsome but not rich or not as handsome and rich. Kenya is conservative if one were found to be indulging in this they would be condemned and treated as outcasts.

Secondly, it’s rare for a businessman or CEO of a company to have a lot of time on their hands to spend with their significant other. Christian Grey was always around Anastasia Steel, in the movie we only see him work once.

For the rest of the scenes, he is with Anastasia steel. In the real world, a man has to work in order to get the amount of money that Christian Grey has.

365 DNI (365 days)
There is nowhere in this world where a kidnapper will give you 365 days to fall in love with them. The kidnapper will not be some high-end mafia boss but someone who is in desperate need of money hence taking extreme actions in order to get the money.

The truth is there are rarely handsome Kidnappers like the main protagonist Masimo. They will always look like the ones we described while writing compositions in school. Red bloodshot eyes, a scar on their cheek very brown teeth, and so on.

In the real-world criminals are actually arrested for their crimes and are not running Scot-free after committing a crime.
If someone Kidnaps you and forces you to love them in 365 days it is a complete red flag and you should run.
