Nairobi: One person has reportedly died after a seven-story building collapsed at Seasons area in Kasarani, Nairobi county yesterday.
According to the latest report, another person has been retrieved from the collapsed building and rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
In a statement, the Police officers said that the rescue operations are still underway.
At the building site, there is fear that a number of people mostly those who have been working on the building, were trapped in the rubble.
The rescue mission is quickly put into place, whereby Four (4) people who sustained injuries were taken to a nearby health centers for further treatment, and other Eight (8) people were still trapped in the building debris.

Delivering first aid, the Emergency Plus Medical Services-EPMS respondend to the matter, said that one (1) person had suffered serious injuries during the incident.
“One person in critical condition was rushed to hospital by our ambulance crew after a seven-story after the occurred incident near Seasons area in Kasarani,” an emergency service operator posted on Twitter.
