Lucy Kamande, one of the traders in the market for many years, sensed and expressed fears that should the supposed land grabbers be allowed to execute their mission, she will have no option for getting her daily bread to feed her family.

In a statement, Kimani, also a trader at the market noted that most of the vendors at the market are either orphans or widows adding that they were being chased out by rich individuals who intend to put up high-raised buildings.
