Figuring out Kenya’s power, Odinga urged his critics to stop focusing much on his retirement, stating that he would exit the political circle at the right time when God says so.

“Things come and go so when my time to retire from politics comes, I will definitely exit the stage. There should not be any discussion about that. Our focus now should be reforming the politics of this country,” the ODM party leader said while addressing mourners at the burial of his wife’s bodyguard in Siaya.

Ida Odinga’s bodyguard, Barrack Oduor, was shot dead in a confrontation with a club manager in mid-October 2022.

Furthermore, Former Kenya’s Prime Minister also stated that he had not given up on fighting for Kenyan citizens at large, adding that he will soon drop a shocking statement that will strategically impact the politics of Kenya.

“My idea of giving up on Kenyan politics is simply untrue, hence my developmental goal for Kenya remains wanted by all Kenyans. Remain strong and do not give up on the freedom search’’, Odinga said.

“New and fresh minds are simply the key to any success, we want to bring change to our people so that Kenyan citizens can live a comfortable life,” he added.

Also, he clarified about the claims that he was seeking to benefit from his silence and political statements adding that he only wanted to see the lives of citizens change.

On the other hand, Siaya County Governor James Orengo urged Raila Odinga’s supporters not to underestimate the ODM boss despite losing the top sit to William Ruto in Kenya’s August 9 general elections.
