Nameless took to social media specifically Facebook and told the fans that their drawbacks are brought up by outdated traditions. He acknowledges the way people were brought up and taught could contribute to this problem but it is the wisdom we have that should guide us to know the bad and good parts of the culture. The bad part of the culture should be let go and we should develop a progressive way of thinking and living.

“Saa zingine tunajiangusha na traditions that are outdated .. I understand that we have been taught to follow our culture or tradition without question, but the truth is we are supposed to use our wisdom to identify the parts of our culture that are unfair or unprogressive and let them go, as we adopt more progressive, fair and better ways of thinking and living … Cultural evolution is where my leadership flourishes… Guys, don’t just follow beliefs without questioning and looking for better ways of living together as people…let’s evolve buana,” Nameless wrote.

In African culture having a daughter seems disadvantageous to the family because they get married to another family and end up carrying the other family’s name as opposed to having a son who will take the family’s name and his father’s legacy. However, times have changed and some cultural practices that were practised a long time ago are rarely practised in this day and age.

This post was received with tremendous support as some fathers showed that nameless was not alone. Some of them posted pictures of their beautiful daughters and joked that they should start an organization

One person wrote “Karibu chairman we are delighted and grateful for the gift of children…Sasa tuform hii organisation as fast as possible and we have elected you on the chairman position unopposed… I can be the treasurer.”

Nameless was also supported by others who said a baby is a blessing regardless of gender.

One person wrote “Why do people impose their wishes, on others? No gender is superior to the other, we don’t choose gifts granted to us by man or God.”
