Speaking in Nairobi, the head of state gave a developmental alarm to the newly formed cabinet to adhere to the oath of office and economic deliverance to all Kenyan citizens.

He stated that service delivery to Kenyan nationals is one of the main components of the oath.

In a statement, the president also highlighted favoritism towards friends and family noting that the public offices demand highly ranked professionalism.

“I have appointed Cabinet Secretaries to magnificently work for all Kenyan citizens without fear or favor, hence our key role is to uplift our economy’’, President Ruto said.

“Your sworn-in into public offices is a symbol to showcase a top higher developmental circle for a greater Kenya’’, the Head of State said in a statement.

Furthermore, he also called upon the families of the CSs to be patient with his cabinet noting that the majority will be working overtime to ensure that the Kenya Kwanza agenda is fulfilled.

“In addition, I will purely conclude with a Bible verse from the book of James 4:17, which states that he who knows what is right and doesn’t do it, it is counted to them as a sin’’, Ruto added.

Giving developmental directives President Ruto also encouraged the CSs to have an open-door policy and be available to attend to the challenges facing Kenyan citizens.

Also, Ruto called upon the 22 Cabinet Secretaries to be each other’s security personnel and always correct each other for mistakes done in their ministries.

“Work according to the law for the benefits of all Kenyans, we have a significant role to play at any means of our outlined agenda”, Ruto concluded.
