Kenyans are well known for either criticizing or applauding celebrity outfits when they appear at events, and many praised Sports Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed’s Model Daughter Firyal Nur’s closet choice.

The model donned a long blush dress that accentuated her curves and a matching bag to President William Ruto’s inauguration ceremony at Kasarani.

She then proceeded to the State House for the luncheon. which was attended by a number of local celebrities, including Samidoh and Karen Nyamu, among others.

Among the best dressed was First Lady Rachel Ruto, whose wardrobe choice during her husband President William Ruto’s inauguration could not go unrecognized.

Mrs. Ruto looked stunning in a gold mermaid dress with rose attention to detail and a red clutch bag.

Pastor Dorcas Rigathi, the wife of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, looked stunning in a beautiful flowing dress with colors similar to the First Lady’s.

Stylists couldn’t help but notice Ms. Ruto and Ms. Rigathi’s fashion statements, whose chosen colors, they say, speak of royalty.

“The outfit that she has just worn today is a statement, she has just come out boldly to take her space, not only as the first lady but as a fashion icon,

“Of all the outfits we have seen her wear, this is one of the best, it brings out the elegance and the use of bold colours is also a point to note. The gold colour symbolizes royalty,” Chemuuz Ankara’s owner, Ms. Chemutai Kurgat, noted.

According to stylist Michael Mwaura, the First Lady’s dress is a breath of fresh air from the Ankara outfits she has been wearing.

The two arrived with their husbands, who both wore yellow ties to complement their spouses’ outfits and to represent the presidential standard, which is mostly yellow.
