Lupita Nyong'o dives with fans in Zanzibar

Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong’o has made the dreams of a group of boys based at the Forodhani beach in Zanzibar come true, after responding to their invite.

The 39-year-old flew all the way to their country, just to dive into the Indian Ocean with them.

The group, headed by popular Instagrammer Jamal, invited the award-winning actress to join them in diving into the ocean two weeks ago.

According to a local media house, the group requested their fans to tag Lupita in the video until she saw it, and to their surprise, she popped up.

The video shows the young men requesting Lupita to join them before jumping into the ocean while holding two finely painted portraits of the Black Panther actor.

The actress then took to Instagram on Saturday to share a video of herself and the boys jumping into the ocean.

Unable to contain his ecstasy, Jamal wrote: “My heart is still smiling. Many thanks to all [the] people who [are] supporting us…you guys are the best,

“Every time you guys make things possible for us. I don’t know how to thank you guys enough.”

According to reports, Lupita is in Zanzibar to film a new project, presumably a documentary, in addition to ocean diving.
