The contrast comes after Babu Owino’s demands of seeking the chairmanship of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) fell into an empty stomach.

Babu who had been eyeing the aforementioned position, missed it after the ODM party proposed the nominated MP John Mbadi.

Through his Twitter account, the youthful lawmaker confidently hit out at the ODM party, accusing it of deploying youths into campaigns and in reward, betraying them.

“ODM Party, so many youth and myself sacrificed a lot and used our resources in the party over the years, our pay is betrayal and blackmail. It is OK. Tomorrow is another day,” Babu Owino stated on his Twitter account.

Initially, Babu Owino tweeted that the party holds fumble moves that favor the seniors more than the youths.

“ODM party, with due respect, why should John Mbadi come down from the position of Majority leader to PAC chair, which was reserved for me? This will not happen! Over my dead body…Young people must get their space. It’s now or never. He has been rewarded through nomination,” Babu claimed.

In response to Babu’s lamentation, Homa Bay Town Member of Parliament, Peter Kaluma disparage Babu’s demands of seeking the PAC chairman position.

On his Twitter handle, Kaluma said that Babu is the most gracious youth who has benefited a lot after befitting Raila Odinga’s shoulders.

”Raila Odinga has enabled you to serve 2 terms as a Member of Parliament just for shouting “tialala, tibim”! What more does Baba owe you, kid bro?” Kaluma reacted to Babu Owino.
