Controversial politician Babu Owino has gotten Kenyans on Twitter once again outraged after uploading his recent tweet.
Owino’s choice of words in his presidential pick garnered criticism from Kenyans who believed the newly elected MP for Embakasi East, was provoking a riot if his choice was not ratified.
With the nation presently praying for a peaceful election, people who share Owino’s presidential preference have begged him to be like everyone else, implying that they will accept whoever wins.

“Mhesh usijaribu kuturudisha nyuma we have come so far bana. Whoever wins let the country move ahead,” responded another netizen.
As the election dates approached, Kenyan artists, both secular and gospel, joined hands to produce collab songs that promoted a peaceful election.
During the actual Election Day on Tuesday, August 9, musicians like Ringtone who showed up at Milimani Primary School in Nairobi to vote with Bible in hand, utilized comedy to encourage his fellow artists to follow suit.
According to Ringtone, who spoke to SPM Buzz, he carried a Bible to keep himself entertained while waiting in line.
He then employed humour in order to send his message home and encourage celebrities, like cross-dressing comedian Eric Omondii alias Divalicious, to go out and exercise their civic duty.
