Al-Zawahri and Osama Bin Laden were behind the 9/11 attacks, and since then became America’s most wanted terrorists.

“Al-Zawahri had carved a trail of murder and violence against American citizens. From hiding, he coordinated al-Qaeda’s branches and all around the world, including setting priorities for providing operational guidance and calling for and inspired attacks against US targets,” Biden said in a live television address from the White House.

“Now justice has been delivered and this terrorist leader is no more,” he added.

The FBI updated its Most Wanted Terrorist poster on Monday with Al-Zawahri status: “Deceased.”

The 71-year-old Egyptian doctor took over al-Qaeda after the death of Osama bin Laden in 2011.

Nine Eleven

Biden admits he gave final approval for the accurate strike by the CIA operation team after thorough planning.

Operators reported that Zawahri was on the balcony of a safe house at the time of the attack, he allegedly sits there often for a long time.

The drone fired two missiles at him with his family members present, however, they were unharmed since the weapon was targeting Al-Zawahri alone.

Biden concluded that Zawahri demise is justice served for the families of the nearly 3,000 victims of the Nine 11attacks.

In 2001 terrorists coordinated an attack on American soil, crashing passenger jets into historic buildings in New York and Washington – including two skyscrapers in Manhattan.

344 firefighters American were also killed, Andrew Ansbro, president of the New York Firefighters Association thanked Biden for “helping to bring another level of closure to all impacted by these attacks”.

Biden further accused Zawahri of being responsible for other acts of violence, including the suicide bombing of the USS Cole naval destroyer in Aden in October 2000, which left 2000 lives lost, 17 US sailors killed, and the 1998 attacks on the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania where people died as well.

The Kabul attack took place early Sunday morning, hitting the center of the Capital.

Speculations went around about the hit in a presumed empty house in the Sherpur neighborhood famous for its flashy multi-storied villas.
