Kenya Kwanza Presidential candidate William Ruto slammed President Uhuru Kenyatta for claiming that he lingers and hurls insults that do not promote the country’s prosperity.
While drifting his political campaigns in Muran’ga county on Tuesday, August 2, DP Ruto, hinted that the Azimio’s presidential candidate, Raila Odinga, Embakasi East MP, Babu Owino, Suna East MP, Junet Mohammed, and Mombasa Governor, Ali Hassan Joho, as those who hurled insults at Uhuru, before he decided to join them.
“I often hear you saying we insulted you, Mr. President. I want to ask the Murangá people if they ever heard me insulting you. “
“Whoever said Uhuru Kenyatta is a drunkard and bhang smoker wasn’t Ruto; he was Raila Odinga and his supporters,” Ruto claimed.
According to Ruto, President Kenyatta is being blackmailed by hypocrites who don’t appear to be genuine friends but seasonal allies.
“The people you consider friends are the ones who insult you.”
“They merely pretend to be true friends, yet they are hypocrites,” he added.
