Siaya county gubernatorial candidate, Senator James Orengo, has urged locals to embrace the 6-piece voting pattern to ensure that Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya presidential candidate, Raila Odinga, has control of both the National Assembly and Senate.Orengo insisted that if they fail to honor the 6-piece pattern then Raila will have it rough driving his agenda.
His words were echoed by East African Legislative Assembly member, Oburu Odinga.“The predicament facing the United States of America president, Joe Biden where he has not been able to drive his agenda through the US congress awaits Raila Odinga should he become the president without the requisite number of parliamentarians,” he said. The two politicians were speaking at Uriri in West Gem ward where they met ODM grassroots officials from the Gem constituency.Oburu also drums up support for Orengo’s bid to clinch the Siaya gubernatorial seat.“We must make sure that Raila Odinga gets maximum support and members of parliament, senators, governors, and members of the county assembly if not here in Siaya,” Senator Orengo added.Oburu at the same time castigated Raila’s main rival, deputy president William Ruto for masquerading as a champion for the common mwananchi while all through he has been associating with oppressive regimes.
