Kabi wa Jesus recently left Kenyans with their jaws hanging agape, following his admission that he had slept with not just one but numerous of his biological cousins.
The father of three decided to stop proceedings at a religious gathering, so that he could confess on how his relatives satisfied his sexual appetite.
He however defended himself, claiming the habit was brought on by his cousins repeatedly molesting him when he was a young child.
“Wazazi wangu walikuwa wananiacha kwa nyumba ya watu flani madem wawili, and they would molest me in turns and I could not tell my parents, some of my relatives took turns to molest me”.
According to Kabi, the controversial incident first broke in 2021, after he revealed to have had a relationship and fathered a kid with his cousin Shiko. It was just the tip of the iceberg.
“I know that most of you are aware of the incident that occurred last year where one of my cousins came out and she revealed that we slept together and we have a child. When the story came out, many of you were wondering how I could sleep with my cousin”.
For Kabi, having a child with his cousin is not unusual because other members in his family have also had children with their cousins. He added that sleeping around and with relatives was planted in him when he was very young.
However, Kabi wa Jesus claims he is no longer bound by his past since he is now a born-again Christian and no longer engages in such inexplicable activities.
He went on to blame his family members for exposing him to drinking and a promiscuous lifestyle at a young age.
“People said that I am a bad person. Before I got born again, this was not an issue. She was not the first one. I had slept with so many others. What are you talking about? The one who got pregnant is the only one that you know,” he said.
In his explanation, Kabi who is married to Milly said that he began using marijuana and alcohol when he was young, which made him impulsive and unable to consider things through.
