Speaking to a local station during an interview, Bahati, who is running for the Mathare parliamentary seat, hinted that he married Diana Marua so he might experience motherly affection.

The “Mama” singer said he wanted a lady who could show him what he missed growing up in a children’s home while acknowledging the significant impact his wife has had on his life.

“Because I am an orphan, the moment I wanted to start a family, I wanted someone who can create a space for a life I never had before. I had never seen how a parent loves. I needed someone that can help me create and nurture a family so that I can feel what I missed in my dear life,” he added.

When asked what he didn’t like about his wife, Bahati mentioned that he didn’t like it when she denied him intimacy.
“There are times when she does not give me sex for like two or three days,” Bahati said.

The two began dating in 2015, and have two children so far.
Diana stated in a different article that she enjoys taking her sweet time in the bedroom for fun moments with her husband.

Her political aspirant husband, however, claimed that ever since he began campaigning, he has been exhausted and that every cell in his body has been “sleeping.”

Diana and Bahati were competing in a game about who knows the other better that they posted on their YouTube channel.

Earlier this month, Diana was chosen to represent East African Content Creators in the upcoming and first-ever VidCon to happen in Africa. The Award-winning artist celebrated his wife’s achievement via his Instagram page.

“Congratulations babe. Numbers don’t lie, now rated the best!!! You just started creating content the other Day!!! You have now been chosen to represent the East African region in the first & historical VidCon Africa session bringing together the top African Content Creators,

“Again congratulations. It’s just the beginning. I know you have a lot in store, I can’t wait for you to show the world. Glory to God. Go and shine my love,” he wrote.
