Fortunately, no casualties were suffered or injuries sustained, in a sinister encounter where gunshots were fired, as seen in the CCTV footage of the incident.

Ali is certain the raid on his office was politically motivated, attributing the occurrence as a move to deter him from focus on the race to retain the Nyali parliamentary seat.

His main concern was how the raid on his office happened when it is directly opposite that of the deputy county commissioner.

“As it stands, no one has been arrested. The police came to my offices and looked at the CCTV footage. What we know is that shots were fired in the air at night but we wonder why such an incident would happen directly opposite the office of the Deputy County Commissioner?” he asked.

Previously, Ali revealed that Mombasa port is now in the hands of three Kenyans namely, President Uhuru Kenyatta, Azimio-One Kenya Alliance Presidential Candidate Raila Odinga and the outgoing Mombasa County Governor Ali Hassan Joho.

Ali, while addressing the press in Mombasa on Monday, uncovered that Dubai port was guaranteed 20-30 percent of operations in the Mombasa port.

Following his statement on his Twitter account, the MP said the Mombasa economy is bieng destroyed by a few individuals who are behind the so-called “State capture” of the port.

The three aforementioned names are allegedly accused of privately owning shares in ports in Kisumu , Mombasa, Lamu, Nairobi, and Naivasha, and that Kenyans should not expect to benefit from the blue economy.

“The port of Mombasa is gone. It’s now privately owned,” said Mr. Mohammed.

However, the MP vowed to reinstate the Mombasa port to what it once was, if Kenya Kwanza will manage to form the new Government after the August 9, General Election.

“We now know our enemies and we shall reclaim it back on the 9th of August God willing,” added the MP.
