The High Court has nullified the selection of Julius Malombe as Wiper Kitui gubernatorial candidate and ordered the party to conduct fresh nominations within 72 hours.
The verdict has been rendered by Justice Christine Meoli noting that Malombe was awarded the nomination certificate illegally by not following the law orders.

Malombe’s case was presented in court by Ambassador Kiema Kilonzo after the party principals granted Malombe a direct ticket and deny Kiema the opportunity.
