Jubilee Party Vice Chairman, David Murathe, has mocked Kapseret Member of Parliament, Oscar Kipchumba Sudi, after he shared photos of himself in school uniform, alongside Songoliet Secondary School students.

In his tweet yesterday, Murathe jeered Sudi saying the Kapseret MPs endgame was to repost the same photos in school uniform come 2027, to persuade the Commission of University Education (CUE) that he indeed went to school.

My friend Oscar Sudi is sharp; he will send this photo to CUE in 2027 when he will be vying for the Uasin Gishu Gubernatorial seat. He got classmates now,” Murathe reacted to Oscar Sudi through a tweet.

The Kapsaret Mp visited Songoliet Secondary School chairing the thanksgiving ceremony of handing over a new brand school bus funded by the Community Development Fund (CDF) kit.

“I joined parents, teachers, students, and residents of Songoliet village during handing over ceremony of the brand-new school bus and thanksgiving to Songoliet Secondary school courtesy of NG-CDF,” Sudi tweeted explaining the key reason for his visit to the aforementioned school.

In his tweet, Sudi quoted Nelson Mandela’s words to motivate the students’ morale to work extra hard in their studies.

“Education is the only weapon that can be used to change the world,” Sudi tweeted Mandela’s quote that activates students’ morale to work hard.

Earlier this year, Sudi suffered setbacks following the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) order seeking all persons seeking elective positions to have academic certificates as a key requirement in clearance with the election board.

He was charged in court with forging a Diploma Certificate in Business Management purporting it to be a genuine document issued by the Kenya Institute of Management.

Similar charges that Sudi faced in the High Court were concerning his forgery certificate of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education claimed to acquire from Highway Secondary School in Nairobi.

According to the Highway Secondary School Principal Examinations Secretary Nabiki, Ene Kashu is that the legislator did not register or sit the 2006 KCSE examination at his school as per his assertions.

Nabiki testified that the purported certificate for the 2006 exams presented to KNEC by Sudi for verification was a forged document.

“We also established that a candidate by the name Oscar Sudi did not appear in the year 2006 KNEC database for either Highway or Parklands Secondary School,” she testified.
