It has recently been reported that Janet Mbugua has already started divorce proceedings from hubby Eddie Ndichu, according to an anonymous source from a local newsroom.
The two have been married for about 7 years since 2015 and are blessed with two sons.
Although they are alleged to have broken up a few years ago, others question why it has taken them a while to file for a divorce.
Through a local newsroom, it was disclosed that their engagement was quite of a surprise to the elder sister, who described Eddie as persuasive, as he also proved himself by winning Janet’s heart.

“The first day he came home and he had engaged her out of Nairobi, and they were sitting together and he was like, she is engaged,” said Sharon, Janet’s sister.
“I remember being surprised because, yes, they had been together and had dated, but that step was a surprise,” she added.
During Janet’s Podcast launch, Sharon described Janet as a go-getter. The sister is a mental health advocate at the Mental Health Association of Kenya and privatizes her personal life away from the public sphere.
“Other than being proud of Janet, I am inspired and challenged by her resilience because ever since she has not looked back,” she said.
“I tend to do my own thing and cheer Janet from the background. My support comes more from family and I also spend time with her children.”
To Sharon, the two connected quite fast, and might have allegedly rushed into dating;
“Eddy had been in and out of her life. I remember the first time I saw him was during a farewell party at KTN when she was going to South Africa,” she said.
“When she was there (South Africa), I learned that they connected, and later, they started dating.”
Sharon detailed that for Janet to know whether Eddie was associating with other women, she had to put him on the spot since he was alleged to have reputations with other women.
“Janet really tried to ask about such and other things because, how would she know for sure?” Stated the sister.
The sister also went ahead to mention that the mood had to be switched by the family, for the wedding planning to proceed.
“We helped with invitations and started planning for her wedding. But I can say, it was more of a surprise.”
The wedding was carried out at Chaka Ranch in Nyeri county.
