The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has issued a firm clarification distancing itself from any activities, statements, or engagements undertaken by Oketch Salah, emphasizing that such actions are carried out strictly in his personal capacity and do not represent or bind the party in any way.
In a statement, the party underscored that all official ODM activities, programs, and engagements are conducted exclusively through the Party Secretariat and must receive the approval and guidance of the party leadership, currently headed by Party Leader Dr. Oburu Odinga.
The party leadership cautioned grassroots leaders, members, and supporters against organizing or participating in activities conducted in the name of ODM without prior consultation and formal approval from the Party Secretariat.
ODM stressed that unauthorized initiatives risk misleading members and undermining the party’s structured operations.
ODM reiterated its commitment to order, discipline, and coordinated engagement as it continues to pursue its political objectives across the country.
The statement serves as a reminder that adherence to established party structures remains central to maintaining unity and credibility within the movement.
The clarification was issued by H.E. Gladys Wariga, EGH, the National Chairperson of the Orange Democratic Movement, reaffirming the party’s resolve to safeguard its organizational integrity and official communication channels.
