Nairobi senatorial hopeful and entertainer-turned-politician Jaymo Ulee Msee has launched a blistering political assault on incumbent Senator Edwin Sifuna, vowing to unseat the ODM Secretary-General in the 2027 General Election under the UDA banner.
In a strongly worded statement, Jaymo accused Sifuna of offering what he termed “educated noise” instead of meaningful leadership, arguing that many Nairobi residents mistake eloquence for effective representation.
“Nairobi needs to release the ‘vocal’ Senator Sifuna to focus more on his Kenya Moja White Elephant Project and his watermelon-laced leadership as a Sec Gen in ODM,” Jaymo wrote.
“Many people get confused by the senator’s ‘educated noise,’ mistaking it for ‘intelligent’ vocal representation.”
According to Jaymo, Sifuna has hidden for years behind what he called “comical quasi political-legal activism” under the guise of fighting for democracy.
Jaymo Eyes Nairobi Battle With Sifuna
Jaymo claimed Nairobi has lost its “glory” due to inadequate oversight and leadership that prioritizes theatrics over development.
“Nairobi must rejuvenate and reactivate its lost glory that comes from solid representation, leadership and innovation devoid of noise from imagined political ambitions,” he said.
“The current leadership leaves Nairobi with no productive oversight, further limiting innovation that spurs development and service delivery.”
The aspiring legislator announced that his team will soon unveil an Innovation and Oversight Manifesto
As political temperatures begin to rise ahead of 2027, the Nairobi Senate contest is shaping up to be one of the most closely watched battles.
