Vatican to Host Historic Peace Concert at St. Peter’s Square on September 21
Vatican – St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City will host a landmark global music event on September 21, 2025, marking the International Day of Peace with a powerful message of unity and compassion.
Titled “The World Peace Concert – Sound of Peace,” the event will bring together internationally acclaimed musicians, cultural figures, and peace advocates for an evening of music aimed at healing and solidarity. The concert will be held at Piazza Pio XII, with the historic St. Peter’s Basilica as the backdrop, and extend toward Castel Sant’Angelo, forming a symbolic and literal bridge of connection through music.
Organized under the Jubilee 2025 Holy Year and supported by the Fondazione Pro Musica e Arte Sacra, the concert will not only celebrate cultural unity but also serve a critical humanitarian role.
