Esther Akoth alias Akothee has recently revealed on social media her ambitions to open an academy that will provide free education to children from low-income families.
Through an Instagram post, the mother of five disclosed that the plan that has however been giving her sleepless nights will launch early next year.
“Imagine a society where children can get free education, at least to read and write. Late last year I donated 7 acres of Land to Akothee Foundation…If I speak it, I do it. This is a major dream causing me sleepless nights. Groundbreaking 10th January 2023. Akothee Foundation Academy,” wrote the singer.
Learners will not only receive free education at “Akothee Foundation Academy,” but they will also be provided with basic necessities such as food.
“Offering free education to the less fortunate. The pupils will shower in school, dress in school, eat both breakfast and lunch at school,” she continued.
As she seeks prayers from fans, the “sweet love” hitmaker claims she may have accomplished a life goal by completing the project.
“When I am done with this project I can now rest in peace. Pray for me,” she finished.
