So much for happily ever after, the singer and rapper are officially letting us know what their relationship status is after months of speculation before going public. Avril Lavigne and Tyga have called it quits on their romance after just four months of dating.
A source close to the two has it they are still good friends and both realised they were not good for each other. They came to a mutual decision to go their separate ways but still have the utmost respect for each other. The two first sparked rumours at the Paris Fashion Week and were also pictured together at Nobu Malibu earlier in February.
According to an exclusive report, Avrol did not want to be tied down to a relationship and saw Tyga as her rebound after her split with Mod Sun.

Last year, Avril Lavigne got engaged to Mod Sun before breaking up earlier this year and seen weeks later with Tyga. Just a day after the news of Avril and Tyga’s split, Mod Sun is set to release a break up anthem for Avril in reference to their relationship together. Mod Sun’s rep said a few days after their engagement was called off, that it caught them by shock. Mod was completely blindsided. This all happened as he was on his, God Save the Teen tour.
They were together and engaged as of three days ago when he left for tour, so if anything has changed, that is news to him.
