Editing is a task that aims at modifying a piece of work for purposes of better presentation. Nonetheless, your life, like any other piece of work needs constant modification to attain a semblance of perfection. In order to become a masterpiece, one has to edit their lives as many times as required.
Cut
Truly, it is still very much in fashion to cut off people from your life. It is also healthy to cut yourself off from toxic people and situations. How your life turns out, is heavily determined by the people and situations you choose to surround yourself. Cutting people and things off helps reduce baggage, stress and work load. It also gives you more room for growth and improvement.
Copy and Paste
No one is perfect and all knowing. Hence, be teachable and ready to emulate from exemplary people. Copy the needed habits and character into your life. Be bold to reprint your life and make a few changes to it where necessary. For instance, if someone else uses roses to make their garden beautiful you might as well use daisies to beautify your own.
Add Filters
Let go of the notion that filters imply fakeness. Remember, this is your life and no one has a say over how you choose to live it. Furthermore, it boosts your confidence when people see you exactly how you want them to. Whether you want to appear as a frog or prince, the choice is totally yours. Put on makeup, dress up nicely, smell lovely and add some little bounce and swagger to your walk. Should your bank account balance allow, go get that reconstructive surgery.
Delete
Lastly, learn to do away with the chapters, scenes and lines of your life that are ugly. Permanently erase things that do not satisfy your life. After all, you are the author of your life. Write and rewrite your story as you would want it to be told.
