One of the main points he talked about is that technology has changed the influence of journalism. He also went on to add, ‘’This is a global challenge that have affected other industries. But we believe that media still has a bright future.

The only thing that the people must look at is the issue of sustainability and viability as a business level. At individual level, people must appreciate that the collection, packaging and dissemination of news has changed.’’

According to the Pew Research Center, the digital media industry continues to grow, with about 86 percent of American adults consuming some of their news online. However, despite of all these changes, Victor Bwire believes that the future of a journalist is one who must appreciate the audience and also one who is a multimedia journalist.
