What’s up good people? Did you know that your relationship will be 99.9% safe once you try these new features on WhatsApp. I want to bring to you attention that, WhatsApp under Meta has upgraded the app feature to make sure it’s safer and more protected, friendly and of great experience. You will sure love it!
Here are some of the features that have been updated and introduced since the beginning of the year.
1. Use one account on up to four phones.
One user can now use up to four phones on the same account using the most recent updated WhatsApp. Here are some of the steps to enjoy this feature:
On your primary device, open WhatsApp and go to Settings > Linked devices.
- Tap Link a device.
- On the other device, open WhatsApp and go to Settings > Linked devices.
- Tap Scan QR code.
- Use your primary device to scan the QR code on the other device.
- Once the devices are linked, you will be able to use the same WhatsApp account on both devices.
2. Editing sent messages.
Users can now edit sent messages within 15 minutes of sending them. This is a great way to correct typos or make changes to a message after it has been sent.
- The editing feature can be activated by long pressing the message and selecting edit from the menu that pops up.
Messages that have been edited will have an editing notification, but the user can’t know the message that was previously sent before the editing.

- Save disappearing messages.
This is another feature that has been added to the app, to help the user to keep the conversation they would want to have track of, by using the keeping in chat feature.
- Open the chat where the disappearing messages are enabled.
- Long press on the message you want to keep.
- Tap “Keep in Chat.”
The message will be saved in a “Kept Messages” folder. You can access this folder by going to Settings > Account > Privacy > Messages > Kept Messages.
- New that lock feature.
This feature allows users to add an extra layer of security to their chats by locking them with a password or biometric authentication. When a chat is locked, it is moved to a separate folder and notifications for that chat are hidden.
This means that only the user who knows the password or has the biometric authentication can access the locked chat.
To access the feature, open your most recent updated WhatsApp.
- Go to the chat you want to lock.
- Tap the three dots in the top right corner of the screen and select “Chat Lock”.
- Then, enter a password or use your biometric authentication to lock the chat.
5. New security features.
Two-factor authentication: This is an extra layer of security that requires you to enter a code from your phone in addition to your password when logging in. You can also input your mail so that your app is not linked without your approval.

Some of the most notable features are the status ring, status audience and status voice notes.
