China’s Space Technology Institute, the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), has managed to finger-mark 400th large spacecraft.
According to Xinhua News Agency, Tianhui-6 twin satellites were sent into space on Friday, March 10 for a scientific research mission.
The CASC also plans to launch more than 200 spacecraft in about 60 space missions in 2023 and will see the 500th flight mission of the Long March carrier rocket series this year.
Three flight missions, namely the launches of the Tianzhou-6 cargo craft as well as the Shenzhou-16 and Shenzhou-17 manned spaceships, should take place within the year to improve the country’s capability of entering, using, and exploring space, said the CASC.
The successful launch of the spacecraft is a major milestone for the organization and reflects China’s increasing capabilities in space technology at a highly ranked in science and research.
China has categorized plans for space exploration, such as the construction of a space station, the development of a lunar base, and a manned mission to Mars.
Its space program has attracted significant investment and resources, and the country has made significant progress in developing its own technologies, including the Long March rocket series and the BeiDou navigation system.

China’s space program has on the other hand made remarkable progress in recent years and is poised to make even brilliant contributions to space exploration and technology in the future.
The two satellites were launched on a Long March-4C carrier rocket and will be used for geographic mapping, land resource surveys, scientific experiments, and other tasks. It added that three backup satellites for the BeiDou-3 Navigation Satellite System will be sent into space this year.
