The Jubilee Members of Parliament on Wednesday, February 8 showcased their meeting with President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua in Nairobi.
Speaking at State House, more than 30 MPs from the Jubilee party promised to work hand in hand with the Kenya Kwanza ruling regime for developmental advancement.
“It is inevitable for leaders to work together, the people who elected you are the same people who elected us into power”. Said President Ruto.

“You have a right to make choices as Kenya is a democratic country. You are now our members and we will treat you as such in terms of developmental focus,” the Head of State clarified.
He noted that Parliament is a critical platform for enacting laws on the Government’s outlined agenda.

“We will be on the other hand seeking your support on Bills and regulations on the Housing Fund, Water Purchasing Agreements, among other critical agendas,” Ruto added.
The President said that the Government will scale up food and water provision from next week due to the ongoing drought in the country.

At the State House, the Members of Parliament were led by Balambala MP Omar Shurie, Eldas MP Adan Keynan, and Isiolo Senator Fatuma Dullo.
They stated that their party has close relations with the President, and all they have done has come back home.
