Four People were injured at Sachangwan on the Nakuru-Eldoret Highway after a trailer lost control and collided with a stationary lorry on Tuesday, December 20.
According to eyewitnesses, the Trailer’s driver attempted to regain control of the Truck as it approached the Business Center.
The Truck was said to be heading to Nakuru from Eldoret when the incident happened causing damage to the Shops and other properties.

At the scene, Molo traffic Police arrived at a quick response following the accident to guard locals against looting the affected people’s belongings.
Molo Sub-County Deputy Commissioner-Joshat Mutisya and Sub-County Police Boss-Mwenda Muthamia visited the area to get the whole story.

Josphat Mutisya, the Deputy Commissioner said in a statement that the accident occurred at about 8 am East African Time when a Trailer lost its control at Sachangwan Shopping Center hitting a stalled Truck before ramming into the nearby Shops.

The injured were rushed to Molo Sub-County Hospital and Nakuru PGH Hospital respectively for further treatment.
