Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano has appointed Wycliffe Ochiaga as the acting Managing Director of the Lake Basin Development Authority based in Kisumu County.
The new acting Managing Director Wycliffe Ochiaga now replaces Raymond Omollo who has been Appointed as the Interior Principal Secretary.
Before his appointment, he was the Director of Internal Audit at LBDA. On the other hand, he was responsible for Strengthening Internal Controls, Corporate Governance, and Regulatory requirements at the Authority.

According to Education Qualifications, Ochiaga holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration Finance option from the University of Nairobi, and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with Information Technology from Maseno University.
Giving full responsibility in the office, Raymond Omollo significantly handed over tools of work to Wycliffe on Friday, December 9 at the Authority’s Headquarters in Mamboleo, Kisumu.
In addition, Wycliffe Ochiaga is a fully recommended Accountant with over 10 Years of experience in Financial Management, Auditing, and Corporate Governance. He is also a member of the Certified Public Accountants of Kenya, the Institute of Internal Auditors of Kenya, and the Institute of Directors of Kenya.
