American Actress Amber Heard seemingly deactivated her Twitter account after being the subject of hatemongering trolls on social media weeks ahead of ex-boyfriend Elon Musk Twitter Takeover.
Elon Musk completed his acquisition of Twitter on 27th October and has since gone ahead and set an $8 price tag on the ‘blue check mark’.
While all this was going on, Amber Heard, his ex-girlfriend, disappeared online after long hatemongering from netizens. Well, who could blame her?
Legal struggles with ex-husband Johnny Depp led to a lot of backlash from fans of the Pirates of the Caribbean star. In the latest turn of events, Johnny Depp, earlier this week appealed part of the verdict that saw Amber Heard take $2 million for defamation by one of Depp’s lawyers. According to TheHill, a jury in June this year awarded Johnny Depp $10 million in compensatory damages.
Amber Heard dated Elon Musk on and off from 2016 and 2018. After the breakup, she is reported by thedailystar to have said, “Elon and I had a beautiful relationship, and we have a beautiful friendship now, one that was based on our core values. Intellectual curiosity, ideas, and conversation, a shared love for science. We just bonded on a lot of things that speak to who I am on the inside. I have so much respect for him.”
