Renowned CNN Journalist Larry Madowo said he would not pay for exclusive content on social media platforms.
Many people were in support of this statement and responded by giving some examples of some social media platforms asking to pay some money in order to access certain content. However, they were some people against it for content creators also need to get a source of income and social media platforms are their source of income.

One person Quoted his tweet asking, “what’s wrong with creators wanting an income?”
A majority of the people agreed with his statement saying that if they do not follow a person for free then they do not see the point in paying to see the content they create

Larry Madowo was a former host of the trend that was being streamed on NTV media station and now he is a CNN international correspondent based in Nairobi. Before joining CNN, he was in BBC where he served as BBC’s network North America correspondent in Washington D.C. Larry Madowo has covered many stories while working for BBC. The major stories he covered were the George Floyd death resulting in a protest that happened in 2020, The 2020 presidential election that happened in the United States of America, and the trial of Derek Chauvin.
