Kenyans will get to know the 5th president who will be taking over from Uhuru Kenyatta today.

Going by the activities at Bomas of Kenya, where the 15 verification tables at the venue were empty on Monday morning.

This is an indication that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is preparing to declare the winner of the presidential results.

Raila Odinga and William Ruto the two main contenders for the presidential seat are expected to arrive at the Bomas of Kenya accompanied by their running mates.

All the four candidates, Raila Odinga of Azimio La Umoja, UDA’s Deputy President William Ruto, Roots Party’s George Wajackoyah and Agano Party’s Waihiga Mwaure have to meet to be declared the 5th President of Kenya are; Garnering 50per cent + 1 vote and 25 per cent in 24 counties. 

IEBC has reserved special seats for the four presidential candidates and their families at Bomas of Kenya.
