Boma International Hospitality College has been crowned Hospitality School of the Year at the prestigious Kenya Tourism Awards Gala, reaffirming its position as one of the country’s leading institutions in hospitality and tourism education.
The glittering awards ceremony was held on February 4 at the Argyle Grand Hotel in Nairobi, bringing together key players in Kenya’s tourism and hospitality industry to celebrate excellence and innovation across the sector.
Boma International Hospitality College emerged top after edging out strong competition from Utalii College, which finished in second place, and the International Hotel and Tourism Institute, which secured third position.

The award recognizes Boma’s consistent commitment to high-quality training, industry-aligned curriculum, and the production of skilled professionals who continue to shape Kenya’s growing hospitality sector both locally and internationally.
The Kenya Tourism Awards aim to spotlight institutions and organizations that play a critical role in strengthening Kenya’s tourism value chain, with education and skills development remaining a key pillar of the industry’s long-term growth.
