Oketch Salah has issued a fresh clarification, firmly denying claims that he was planning an interview with media personality Oga Obinna, while also emphasizing that there is no bad blood between him and Winnie Odinga.
In a statement shared publicly, Salah dismissed reports suggesting he was set to appear on Obinna’s platform to discuss the ongoing controversy surrounding the late Raila Odinga’s final moments.
“I did not discuss any interview with Oga Obinna and I can confirm that I will not be attending that interview,” Salah stated.
Salah Affirms Peace After Talks With Ida Odinga
Salah further revealed that he had held a discussion earlier in the day with Ida Odinga, whom he referred to as “my sister from Migori, Her Excellency Ambassador Min Piny, Mama Ida Odinga.”
Addressing speculation of a fallout with Winnie Odinga, Salah was categorical in downplaying any notion of animosity.
“Winnie Odinga is like my younger sister and I have no issues with her,” he said.
His remarks come days after differing accounts of the late Raila Odinga’s last moments from Winnie Odinga and Salah sparked widespread public debate and social media reactions.
The clarification appears aimed at cooling temperatures following a week of intense scrutiny, with Salah signaling a desire to move away from media confrontations and toward reconciliation.
