Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika has pushed back against comedian Eddie Butita after he mocked men who attended her much-publicised “boob party.”
The tension began when Butita joked about the male guests, hinting it was odd for men to show up to such a celebration. The comments quickly spread online, dividing opinion between those who found his humour sharp and those who saw it as dismissive.
Sidika, never one to shy away from confrontation, responded with her own pointed words. “Stop being bitter,” she wrote on her platforms, adding that “no straight man will ever refuse to attend a boob party.” She went further, suggesting Butita’s gripe stemmed from not being invited.

The event itself had already captured attention for its flamboyance. Guests, including celebrities and close friends, gathered in bold attire under striking décor. Sidika, dressed in a maroon gown that lit up timelines, became the centrepiece of the night.
Social media reaction has been mixed. Some backed Butita, calling his remarks typical stand-up humour. Others defended Sidika, arguing that guests had every right to attend without facing judgement.
Fans praised her unapologetic stance. “She can throw whatever party she wants. People went to support her, and that should be enough,” one user posted.
Both Sidika and Butita are no strangers to stirring debate. Sidika, known for her high-profile lifestyle and confident presence, often dominates entertainment headlines. Butita, meanwhile, has built a reputation for edgy comedy that toes the line between social critique and provocation.
