As part of his grassroots mobilization strategy abroad, Gachagua has already launched DCP offices in Seattle, Washington, and Boston, Massachusetts.
Gachagua’s campaign seeks to position the diaspora as an active political and economic stakeholder, especially as Kenya prepares for the 2027 general elections. Gachagua’s tour is scheduled to include more U.S. cities in the coming weeks, with meetings aimed at strengthening his party’s support base and encouraging voter registration among Kenyans living abroad.
Gachagua’s message to the diaspora emphasizes economic empowerment, inclusion, and national unity. While in the U.S., he is also expected to engage with local leaders, civil society organizations, and potential investors interested in Kenya. Rigathi Gachagua’s growing presence abroad signals a sharpened focus on international outreach as political alignments in Kenya begin to take shape ahead of 2027.
